Like Nick I have adopted the shorn look, on account of a slow but steady follicular retreat from my head.

I think there should be some kind of unspoken code amongst gentlemen. At a certain point, and each man knows for himself what that point may be, there comes a time when even the most meticulous hair care cannot conceal nature's true design for your head. When that day is apparent, you need to face reality and abandon deceit in all its forms, and simply get on with your hairless life.

There are a lot of guys in my office who are losing their hair, and they wander up to me and say "I wish I had the guts to shave my head too. You manage to pull it off, but I couldn't do it." To which I feel like saying "Who exactly do you think is fooled by your comb-over right now??" Gentlemen, you can get away with any look you like, so long as you're confident and remember to do your laundry regularly.

Just DEAL with it. The upside is, you can wear snappy fedoras and nice suits again, because hat-head is not a concern.
