Xavier

My chrome-dome powers come through once again! John's result is (un)surprisingly Canadian...

professor x
You are Professor X!

You are a very effective teacher, and you are very
committed to those who learn from you. You put
your all into everything you do, to some extent
because you fear failure more than anything
else. You are always seeking self-improvement,
even in areas where there is nothing you can do
to improve.

Which X-Men character are you most like?

That "Patrick Stewart-like gravitas" really has you typecast, eh? =)

Could be worse, though. Think Namor.

At least you didn't get Cyclops, like me. He was a wuss in the second movie. The description on the site sounds a little better... but still... Cyclops. Eeeeew.

Why isn't Famke Janssen busting down my door then?

By a strange coincidence, I think Famke Janssen's crowning moment was when she played an empath who accidentally bonded with Patrick Stewart in TNG. It is almost too difficult to watch

I remember that episode! It was a great one.

Although I am secretly glad, now that my ST-devoted brain cells have attrited to the point where I can no longer recall the name of the episode, nor what season it aired in. She was terrific nonetheless.

I remember CityTV aired that TNG episode, immediately followed by an indescribably horrible made-for-TV movie in which Ms. Janssen played a woman who was a supermodel by day, and a blue-spandex-clad crime-fighter by night. The film was shot in Toronto, too.

If the X-Men/X2 casting director had seen that horrible piece of CanCon trash, I don't think Famke would have landed the role of Jean Grey at all. =)

Once again "the internet" comes through for me. Model by Day (1994) was a work of genius and somehow thinking of it as CanCon only makes its crapola-goodness even better.

"Lady X is a woman who works during the day as a model but turns into a fighter for justice at night with the help of her karate master Chang."

I am not ashamed to say that I watched it purely for aesthetic reasons (almost entirely related to the nubile Ms. Janssen). But even such luminous beauty could only carry me halfway through that particular movie.

I like bad movies as much as the next guy (and twice as much if there's a well-aged scotch or port handy), but "Model by Day" was just too distressing to contemplate. I admire your forebearance for these things.
