Nothing apropos of the post - just a note to say I have returned from Blighty, heeded most of your travel advice, and have posted links to pictures of the M1 tank that you were seeking information on in a comment on my site!
Myself and the Canadian delegation to the conference hoisted "Merlin's Ale" in your honor after we returned from Avesbury.
