Echidna

Echidna.jpg

The platypus is a totally over-rated marsupial compared to the echidna. Echidnas kick ass.

And then... Not a marsupial at all! I blog corrected... see the comments for details.

That must be the Japanese Echidna, eh?

I guess that should read "the platypus is a totally over-rated egg-laying mammal" because that would have been funnier. Anyway, echidnas kick ass.

In fact, neither the platypus nor the echidna are marsupials. Both are monotremes and lay eggs.

The male platypus also has a posionous spur on its hind legs, the only venomous mammal.

All monotremes kick serious ass.

Posionus? Ah well.
