Barbies for Bush

Absinthe and Cookies beat me to the punch with coverage of Britney Spear's CNN interview. Tucker Carlson looked like he would choke on his bow-tie.

CARLSON: A lot of entertainers have come out against the war in Iraq. Have you?

SPEARS: Honestly, I think we should just trust our president in every decision that he makes and we should just support that, you know, and be faithful in what happens.

The transcript cannot do justice to the effect Britney's gum-chewing sincerity. She strikes me to be an earnest, hard-working young woman though not my first source for political insight. It was the gum-chewing which did it for me.

I just happened to have control of my computer last night so I was doing a little prebed surfing and stumbled across the article on Drudge.

I question nyone who kissed Madonna on purpose. I don't care if I agree with her opinion.

Hopefully no residual Sean Penn cooties rubbed off on Britney during her brief exposure.

The Madonna kiss came up in the interview as well. Britney looked scandalized at the idea she would ever kiss another woman again unless it was Madonna.
