There is a play on words involving "Oz" and "ass" here somewhere but it is not coming to me. La Minogue is to be immortalized with a bronze statue in her hometown of Melbourne. Her culturally significant hotpants are to feature prominently.

The statue will show the singer in a dance pose, wearing her infamous figure-hugging hot pants.
