Britain's "conservative" Prime Minister is set to deliver British - that is to say, American - nuclear secrets and command of the SAS over to the French.
Nuclear secrets - which have been preserved for five decades – will also be shared under unprecedented plans to merge the testing of warheads.
Meanwhile: Japan considers increasing its submarine fleet from 16 to 22 vessels over the next four years. The PRC has 60 submarines with more on the way.
Canada's Pacific coast is defended by two submarines and Barack Obama.

60 is a bit low as a grand total and a bit misleading, Herr Grandmaster Flea. From the OB I've got on hand they've only 13 SSN out of sixtyish total hulls, that moves up to 20 if you have them using their boomers, for which there's doubt if the navalised version of the DF works as they've never really performed a true deternece patrol with these boats, in conjunction with their SSN.
They've 20 or so Kilo boats, for those who don't follow this topic the Kilo is a very quiet conventional sub, which I'm not sure has the range to make much trouble for the JNSDF, depending on what scenarios we're talking about of course.
So, we're looking at about 20-40 subs with the range and stealth to be threats. The rest of the PLAN sub fleet are old knackered hulls like Ming, Romeo, and the like. Things that're loud as hell by today's standards and are older than I am(30+).
In a scenario where JNSDF is playing defense those numbers don't approach the golden 3:1 an attacker needs to have success attainable(and that's using Dupuy's concept of capabilities+#of platforms instead of only number of platforms, the JNSDF subs are pretty good.).
But that's me.
