The evolution of the race card
Christopher Hitchens offers some rambling musings on overt and covert references to race in American politics.
Still it's the Hitch so it's linked.
This is extraordinarily naive in at least two quite different ways. First, progressives have not decided anything about Muslims, let alone parsed their ideology as race; they are simply applying the same catch all pejorative - "Racist!" - to their opponents as they do when confronted with any disagreement of any kind in any situation. Second, and more importantly, progressives are incapable of acknowledging responsibility let alone regret.
Note worthy of mention: The now multigenenerational state-mandated institutional racism in employment and opportunity across whole sectors of the American economy (and that of every democracy undermined by the Frankfurt School). Look at any public sector job posting or application form and tell me I am wrong. But by all means carry on about sticks and stones instead.
Now's the time: If you’re inclined to pray, now’s the time.
