I hope you all enjoyed the spectacle of western world leaders stepping up to display their sharia compliance bona fides as much as I did. "Don't do it or they'll hurt us."

We're all so much safer for it, yes?

Such is a world where cowardice is masked as virtue.

Exit question: Now a tiny group of religious extremists have learned they can command the attention of the world with the mere threat of violence (to a book), imagine what others like them could achieve if they were to, say, murder office workers in their thousands some bright September morning.

If a Muslim burns the Koran in order to blame it on Israelis and incite Muslims into warfare, run the shot.

If a Christian burns the Koran to make a point about Islam not in fact being this country's official, obligatory sate religion, don't run the shot.

Speaking of lying dwarfs, last week on "The Daily Show" Bloomberg claimed he was having a hamburger with his "girlfriend" when a man came up to him and said of the ground zero mosque: "I just got back from two tours fighting overseas for America. This is what we were all fighting for. You go and keep at it."

We're fighting for the right of Muslims to build mosques at ground zero? I thought we were trying to keep Muslims AWAY from our skyscrapers. (What an embarrassing misunderstanding.) PLEASE PULL THE TROOPS OUT IMMEDIATELY.
