The Manchurian Identity

I was wrong about Barack Hussein Obama; the Manchurian Candidate analogy clearly does not apply.

You can only be a Cuban sleeper agent if you are pretending to be a loyal citizen of the United States. Men who are openly applauded by communist dictators can hardly be classified as sleeper agents (hat tip to Taylor Empire Airways).

"Fate would have it that at this precise moment, the president of the United States would be an offspring of an African man and a white woman, of Muslims and Christians," Castro said. "He won't give the order if he becomes aware" of the devastation it would cause.

"We are making a contribution to that persuasive effort," said the Cuban communist leader.

He stressed that should nuclear war be unleashed, "the existing world order would not survive and would immediately collapse."

They may have over-played their hand with that last bit. The ears of the world's enviro-fascists perked up at the idea.

Along the same lines: "The recent deployment of China's first four indigenous KJ-2000 AWACS aircraft marks an important milestone in the PLA Air Force’s long march from being a ‘numbers intensive’ low technology force, to a much more modern high technology one."

Yet despite the fact that this system employs radar technology two generations ahead of that used by the US Air Force’s E-3C AWACS—generally seen as a benchmark by the rest of the world—the deployment of China’s new aircraft elicited almost no response from Washington.

No response? The response is crystal clear. It is the dog that did not bark.
