The Book of Binky
The indispensable Binky the Web Elf posts Steynian 413. As ever, his round-up offers too much to summarize but to me this passage on The Book of Eli stood out.
As C.S. Lewis once put it, the redeeming of culture and society comes not only through explicitly ‘Christian’ art and movies and books, but through serious Christians doing their best in whatever fields they find themselves, and redeeming the good things there.
Get thee hence!
Oh, and this too; the first straightforwardly patriotic representation of Canada I have seen since... ever. Viva Fox Norte!
