Nigel Farage for Prime Minister

Nigel Farage, who leads UK Independence Party (UKIP) MEPS in the European parliament, said Herman Van Rompuy had "the charisma of a damp rag".

He compared the former Belgian prime minister to a "low-grade bank clerk" and said he came from a "non-country".

Not even tangentially related but obviously part of the same problem: Iraqi yob who spat on WWII hero's medals escapes jail.

Serwan Abdullah, 23, targeted Timothy House while he was wearing his late grandfather’s honours after a commemorative parade. Mr House, 44, who was recovering from a broken hip and was also looking after a 91-year-old wheelchair-bound veteran when the attack happened, said he was left ‘outraged and very angry’.

Abdullah spat at Mr House as he chatted to friends outside a pub after the Memorial Day service in Portsmouth, Hampshire last year. He then ran off.

When he was interviewed, Abdullah showed no remorse and told officers he had done ‘nothing wrong’ adding: ‘F*** him and f*** his medals.’

For this, £200 in compensation and court costs plus some community service.

I understand why Abdullah has contempt for our traditions, our country and our dead.

Worse yet, I also understand why the British justice system has contempt for our traditions, our country and our dead.

Farage was rude, but making a valid point. He's sick of the sycophants and the lack of concern fro democracy. He's one of very few members concerned at all.
