Hermes 900, cont.
Much excitement as Israel announces it has drones capable of reaching Iran and the Astute Bloggers claim to be "first in the blogosphere" to post the news.
Of course, if you read the Flea regularly, you know SpaceWar had the news two months ago.

THANKS FOR THE LIBNK, BUT YOU ARE WRONG.
YOU WROTE:
Elbit announced on Tuesday that its Hermes 900 had successfully completed its maiden flight and would enter production following additional flight tests.
THIS MEANS THAT AT THE TIME THEY MERELY ANNOUNCED THE HERMES WORKED.
MY POST WAS TO A NEWS ITEM THAT THEY NOW HAD A FLEET.
QUOTE:
The Israel Air Force on Sunday introduced a fleet of large unmanned planes it claims can fly as far as Iran.
Air force officials said the Heron TP drones have a wingspan of 26 meters, making them the size of passenger jets. They said the planes can fly 20 consecutive hours, and are primarily used for surveillance and carrying payloads.
The drones, built by state-owned Israel Aerospace Industries, were first used during Israel's Gaza war last year.
At an inauguration ceremony Sunday, officials refused to say how large the new fleet is or whether the planes were designed for use against Iran.
AND I WAS THE FIRST TO LINK TO IT, AND MY LINK BROUGHT IT TO THE ATTENTION OF 150,000 DAILY BLOG READERS AT VARIOUS BLOGS.
ALL THE BEST!
