? Artists United Against Apartheid: Sun City | Main | Geographical correctness ?

Absolute moral authority

Having sacrificed Cindy Sheehan on the altar of Obama's wars, "the left" now trots out Nelson Mandela to offer an apologetic for the release of Libyan mass murderer Abdelbaset Ali al-Megrahi. Having tried to run South Africa on unicorn farts and hope, we are now meant to follow his lead and think of Artists United Against Apartheid; not of the explosive decompression of lungs, nor of scores tumbling from the sky as they are burned to death by jet fuel.

Worse yet, we are meant to believe such moral cretinism shall entitle us to sneer at those who beg to differ.

"Many people believe that you will achieve more in this world through acts of mercy than you will through acts of retribution."

Many people have no mercy for the next victims of a jihadi atrocity. The over-whelming majority of them are not jihadis but their apologists.
