The apotheosis of leftism

Jihadi corsair Abd al Rahim al-Nashiri masterminded the attack on the U.S.S. Cole and as such is responsible for the murder of seventeen American sailors. He may not have managed to martyr himself to his demon in the process but he may nevertheless look forward to a second life as a martyr to his nihilist allies in the United States.

Nashiri was also the target of an "unauthorized" CIA interrogation technique (that had not been legally vetted by the Justice Department) that is described in a May 7, 2004, CIA inspector general's report that was partially declassified by the Obama administration this week.



CIA officers blew smoke in Nashiri's face, according to the report, and they used cigars.

Surely an atrocity on par with having the bad taste to smoke on Iranian television. To the left, the only real crimes against humanity are violations of middle-class etiquette.
