I have never seen a more horrible sight than that of the grave
The global economic downturn has provided an opportunity for Dubai to impose new measures ensuring public propriety. Holding hands in public is now banned as is nudity, kissing, dancing and playing loud music. And, men: don't even think of trying on mascara at the mall; this will have serious legal consequences.
And quite right to all of the above too. After all, hand holding sinners and the like are going to be tortured in the grave by angels sent from God; nobody wants that. Except God, for some reason.

Flea-readers woefully unfamiliar with Allah's taala and what an azaab it is when it is at home might usefully consider the case of an eighteen year old Arab who died in a hospital in Oman. His father doubted the official version and had his son's body exhumed three hours after burial. Relatives were shocked. There was obvious sign of torture and of sustained beating; legs and hands broken, a bruised face and eyes expressing hopeless pain and fear (content warning for images).
This was a real "eye opener". Faced with stark evidence of this kind, the father was forced to admit his son was spoiled and had lead a carefree way of life involved with sin. No more explanation was needed: Angels had tortured and beaten his son in the grave.
And then from heavens the voice will come: "My Slave has told the truth, lay it to bed from Paradise and open the Gate of Paradise" - then it will be full of pleasure and he begins to feel pleasures of the paradise, and his grave becomes spacious, that eyes can reach.
The Prophet of Allah Muhammad (s.a.w.) said about the sinners. After burial of dead person his soul will return to the body, then two Angels will come and ask, "Who is your Lord?" he will answer. "I do not know". Then they will ask: "What that person who has been sent to you?" he again will answer: "I do not know" - and then from the sky the voice will come: "he told a lie, Put him into a box from fire and open before it the Gate of hell!" - than it will be captured with heat of the hell, and his grave becomes narrow and the edges will be compressed.
In Hadis it is also said, that Angels will severely beat the sinners during interrogation in the tomb and the torture will be awful. It is informed also, that our Messenger (s.a.w.) supplicated to Allah to protect Him from tortures of the grave and asked other people to do so.

Flea,
Wouldja do a newbie an intellectual favor by considering referring to "Allah" instead of "God" in articles like this?
There are already too many (historically or religiously) ignorant folks who somehow equate Jewish and Christian believers with Islamist extremists just because we, too, BELIEVE in our Creator.
WE acknowledge OUR bad historical incidents and crimes of Christians and Jews (though I also insist on acknowledgement that much of what's good in Western culture ALSO came from Judaism and Christianity).
Yet the heads-in-the-sand apologists for Islamofacism try desperately to equate OUR civilizations' faults with the faults of those who would destroy us. They thereby seek to establish a moral equivalency between us and those who want us forced into their monstrous interpretation of Islam...or kill us.
Those apologists seem to do this because it enables them to rationalize-away the threat.
To wit, this syllogism:
IF fundamentalist Christians and Jews are as bad as Islamist extremiststs and IF I haven't been killed by fundamentalist Christians and Jews, THEN I won't be killed by Islamist extremists...so we can just give up fighting the latter, hand Israel over to its enemies, stay away from their "territory", and then we'll all live peacefully with warm fuzzy feelings.
Such rationalizers fail to remember the Sbarro Pizzeria BOMBER's memorial shrine in the West Bank...and its recorded message playing from inside a styrofoam rock: "Oh, Muslim, there is a Jew behind me! Come, kill him."
