Another one let through to the keeper
Drunk with hate, "the left" spent every waking hour since the 9/11 massacres attempting to destroy their enemy - their only enemy, i.e. domestic political opponents. Their fixation has blinded to them to everything else - mass rape, slave-taking, butchery of school children, the torture and mutilation of every constituency whose cause progressives once claimed to espouse. Nothing could be allowed to stand in the way of removing W from office. Now the Constitution of the United States has done their work for them, the lamestream media has elected their token Muslim President and the rest of us are at the mercy of their idee fixe cum mass social engineering experiment.
But what to do with the pesky problem of the Islamic world's continuing forever war against us (and the Chinese and the Indians and black Africa and especially, for some reason, the Jews). Now the jihadis are once again targeting sports teams for elimination, must we now be lectured on the inherent false conciousness of cricket enthusiasts? I expect calls for the sport be banned - along with kite flying, listening to music and smoking with children in the car - as yet another sacrifice of everything we are to the whims of 7th century morons. To the weak kneed with no fight in them - and, worse yet, nothing to fight for - there is no liberty they will defend by preference to the quiet life.
No trouble for Canada. We have no cricket here. The smug smile can stay firmly in place; our illusions unmolested until the jihadis come for the Maple Leafs. With luck, a human rights commission will ban hockey or Tim Hortons coffee as halal and Canadians might belatedly wake up to the evils we face.

Nitpick: haram, not halal, I think.

Smoking with children in the car is now a crime in California.
