Absolute moral authority

Mother of USS Cole victim refuses to meet with President Obama.

Curious: Did she vote for President Obama?

Exit: What does civilization surrender next?

She states she voted for him.

I am torn; not that makes a difference, but her son paid the ultimmate price for defending my freedom, weather she realizes or not. See Cindy Sheehan.

How can we surrender that which was lost because we have de-valued noble intention? Since mother's surely bear the brunt of that sacrifice and would bear the most from a loss in war for our country; the honorable respect must be nurtured.
The Zero, has perhaps learned the Chicago way, but let him neglect the personal losses of his capos, and he will soon be swimming with the great big fishes.

Answer: By taking up anew the cause of liberty.

Thank you for this. I missed her vote...

I should possibly explain I meant the title of the post as a kind of question. Sheehan was granted absolute moral authority by "the left" to condemn the war in Iraq and indeed any war except wars carried out against unarmed Western civilians. The same power is not granted, obviously, to those mothers who disagree with the agenda of "the left".
