The better Bond
Daniel Craig offers an extremely gracious answer to a somewhat delicate question. His answer is, of course, entirely wrong headed. Of the two presidential candidates, who would make the better Bond?
Craig doesn’t hesitate. “Obama would be the better Bond because—if he’s true to his word—he’d be willing to quite literally look the enemy in the eye and go toe-to-toe with them. McCain, because of his long service and experience, would probably be a better M,” he adds, mentioning Bond’s boss, played by Dame Judi Dench.
Sure, excepting the part about how James Bond kills men like Bill Ayers. Bernardine Dohrn would initially survive due to being a woman but due to leftist hubris her pitchfork Nazi salute would come out and Bond, to great audience applause, would kill her as an aside on the way out the door. Other than that and the fact McCain is the real deal, sure, I can see Obama as James Bond.
Or possibly Felix Leiter.
If Felix Leiter was a Marxist CIA agent.
But I repeat myself.
