A vote for Labour is a vote for Islam
The latest from Pat Condell. Stop sharia law in Britain: If you are a British citizen or a resident please sign this petition against sharia law being imposed on Britain, and particularly and most immediately on the women of Britain.
Despite the fact Islam is an ideology -- not a race -- some will say this is "racist". I say those people hate women, hate gay men, hate Jews, hate Christians, hate freedom of speech and expression, hate freedom of religion, hate sex, hate having fun, hate the idea of other people having fun and most of all hate themselves.
Yet these same people -- these stupids -- demand the pirates at Gauntanamo should have recourse to the same law they would have us hold in contempt. But of course it does not end there. Next comes the demand the pirates only be held accountable to their own pirate law, the same law that demands of them an eternal war against us. I demand equality before the law, not the apartheid law dreamed of by the left.
You might as well call me racist for opposing Scientology courts in Britain.
Update: Writing for the National Post, Barbara Kay introduces the Third Jihad, and the tactic of soft jihad, to Canadians: We cannot disarm Islamists if their presence is not acknowledged.
We're presently experiencing the terror-focused third great jihad, which seeks to recreate the triumphalist dynamics of Islam's muscular 7th-century ascendancy. How or when this great jihad will end we cannot say, only that realism insists it will not be soon and that the mission to replace secular democracy with Islam proceeds apace inside our borders as well as abroad.
Fair enough so far as it goes. But Kay's insistence there is a difference between the private faith of Islam and the imperialist ideology of Islamism serves only to recapitulate the leftist fantasy her argument means to oppose. Ask a jihadi if he is an Islamist and he will tell you he is a Muslim.
Also missing is a tip of the hat to The Third Jihad, from whence Kay presumably borrows the term and her argument. It is not only ungracious to avoid giving credit where credit is due, in the long run it makes you look like a thief. Print readers may not know better but in time they will learn to master the complexities of an internet search engine and the MSM will have to step up their game or go under.
