Update: Even as Senator McCain reaches out to Senator Obama as a fellow American, Obama's supporters show themselves for what they are as they attempt to disrupt John McCain's acceptance speech. McCain: "My friends. Please don't be diverted by the ground noise and the static."
Quite right. But considering the times we live in -- and reports anarchists have assaulted delegates and were plotting a kidnapping attempt on the same -- the fact some of their brethren have made their way by convention security is a serious, serious problem.
Update: Coming to the conclusion now. I think Senator McCain has done what he needed to do. He has won over his own party.
