Yes, but that's the problem
In light of recent retreats by Canada's "human rights" commissions, Instapundit has a suggestion.
An excellent idea in principle. But what the good professor has yet to grasp - on a visceral level, if not on the intellectual - is that Canada's HRCs pick and choose what they want to hear and do so within legislative and regulatory guidelines that preclude hearing complaints against Muslim clerics, Womyn's activists and the like. These are not kangaroo courts but kangaroo tribunals and kangaroo commissions; even a kangaroo court makes a pretense to observing the form of the law, the HRCs make theirs up as they go along. As of June 26, Jay Currie had already been waiting for two months for so much as an acknowledgment from the Canadian Human Rights commission regarding his complaints.
I suspect Jay will have to wait until the press notices and - by a stunning coincidence - the CHRC gets its two-sided fax machine working.
