A sanitarium for mental patients is reportedly planned for the "holy city of Makkah". Mind your Ps and Qs thinking up a punchline, though. Would not want to expose this absurd sociopathic cult to hatred and/or contempt. Not only will some knife wielding maniac chant from the Necronomicon as he cuts off your head but you can expect a call from Canada's ministry for the promotion of virtue and prevention of vice human rights industry.

So what you are trying to say is that if I followed up with a punchline like,
"Yeah, they are putting a 100 foot wall up around the city"
I might either get a call from the Canadian Ministry of Rightthink or a knock on my door from a hairy, religious nutball with a bruised forehead and an irrational fear of the clitoris?
Fortunately I still live in America where I can say what I want. As for the second I can still answer any murderous religious zealots carrying rusty knives to behead me with a snappy rejoinder from Messrs. Smith and Wesson.

If Canada had a proper constitution it might even include first and second amendments along those lines.
As to those of us trapped north of the border, I now think it has come down to them or us. Either the Canadian dextrosphere takes down the human rights industry and they face a variety of civil and criminal charges or a lot of bloggers are going to be marched before drumhead tribunals.

It seems to me that Canada has written its goodbye letter and is now laying on the bed with a bottle of pills and a fifth.
