Sleeper cells

ABC News reports Hezbollah has activated Canadian sleeper cells in order to target Jews. All our so called gun control legislation and "human rights" commissions and hairsplitting between anti-semitism and anti-Zionism mean nothing to the enemy and never did. Neither does the wishful thinking of people who imagine they can make common cause with the men who would hack the heads from their necks.

By contrast, the great republic to the south.

And Iran would be right. But the Persians have already learned they can rape, torture and murder a Canadian journalist and Liberal former Prime Minister Jean Chretien will be on the next flight to whore for oil contracts. In Canada we call this moral calculus "progressive". They said it was all about oil. They were right.

For the record: I can think of a half dozen targets in downtown Toronto - one of them down the street from my home - that are wide open to attacks of the kind Iran has already executed from Buenos Aires to Beirut. But when the smoke clears and the scattered bodies are hidden from view it will be the United States and not our own tragic, evil indifference that most Canadians will choose to blame. We said "never again". We lied.
