Because we’re America, we can do that

The San Francisco police department joins the ranks of Western law enforcement agencies abetting ChiCom "security" in their fascist pageant. I cannot imagine a more accurate advertisement for the Beijing Olympics than this Nazi torch spectacle.

Majora Carter, not the SFPD, is America.

... yesterday in San Francisco, in which Gavin Newsom’s best laid plans to avoid embarrassing the Chinese — including an eleventh-hour re-routing of the torch relay to keep it away from protesters — were thwarted by torch-bearer Majora Carter. She had a small Tibetan flag stashed up her sleeve; when they passed her the torch, she pulled it out and the Chinese “security” team traveling with them pounced. Watch as one of the American cops shows her how they do it in Beijing, giving her a gratuitous shove into the crowd to keep her away from the communist propaganda pageant she was momentarily a part of.

Call me a cynic (although bitter old man would be apposite), but would the Left of the West give a bloody goddam about this if there was no such thing as Tibet?

30-60 million starved and murdered; tyrannical police-state... but, HEY! at least they're progressive socialist like us!

Tibet is just a tiny itch of a left-over scab that Leftist reach for when the husk of their souls cry out.
