Hijab Day
Louisiana State University student newspaper columnist, Shirien Elmasraya challenges kuffar women to wear a hijab on April 25. I was considering the matter when I noticed commenter JSH has done my thinking for me.
The rest of the comments are also worth a look; especially the bikini car wash suggestion. Here's another: Dress like Slave Girl Leia for April 25! This gesture of ecumenicism would go a long way toward showing me Muslim women respect my most deeply held spiritual convictions. But no costumes from the "prequels" or it is a original series Jedi fatwa on all your asses.

April 25th is also Red Hat Society Day, oddly enough.

Makes me retch. And it's even worse.
1. Despite much evidence to the contrary, Muslim men still prefer human females to goats. The hijab does not protect women from these brainwashed rapists, but rather identifies them as especially vulnerable victims. Attackers know their male relatives will beat/torture/strangle them if they report the rape.
2. What kind of queer religion proscribes essential nutrients? All humans need sunlight on their skin to create vitamin D. Even Muslim females.
3. It's gonna get ugly under there. How many times per day does the Prophet of Shampoo command the hijabers to wash their greasy hair?

I expect they are as capable of washing their hair once they get home as anybody else.
It is not the head covering that bothers me per se. Think of Paul's (arguably tortuous) argument on the subject in 1 Corinthians 11... I agree, rather, with the writer of the comment: They are free to believe what they wish. We draw the line at the imposition of their beliefs on the rest of us; particularly when, a you point out, we cannot know if their beliefs are theirs out of conviction or out of fear.
It is particularly sickening to watch as "feminists" jettison every gain their mothers and grandmothers made from them in an orgy of sentiment and nihilism, prostrating themselves at the feet of a rape-cult. Today's feminists are armed and vote Republican.

That's another perspective. My point is: Who needs a god that prescribes unhealthy behavior? Humanitarians are well justified to rebuke the systematic implementation of such fallacious thinking.
..............
Btw, we have invitations to a pre-world-premier, sneak preview screening of The Forbidden Kingdom tonight. I'm tingling. Several of the film contributors will be attending the reception. Interested in some B-list celebrity pix?
