Room 101
Apparently totally unconscious of the irony, MiniTru BBC Four considers George Orwell and the real Room 101. The spectacle of Tony Benn and his ilk on doublepeak is gorge-raising as is BBC cant on Hussein and bin Laden vs the real enemy, i.e. Tony Blair and George Bush. Doublespeak, indeed. And rats are fine as far as the worst thing in the world goes but it turns out Starbucks and an all American diet is much more effective as an interrogation device.
The Rachel Whiteread piece is a nice idea.
