Not a big surprise

Ultimate 2008 Presidential Candidate Matcher
Your Result: Rudy Guiliani

The former New York City mayor emphasizes his tough foreign policy stance. His primary issue is national security, and would continue to pursue Bush's war on terrorism. Guiliani is liberal on social issues, favoring civil unions for gays and abortion rights. He is more conservative on tax policy, healthcare, and social security. He wants to expand nuclear energy to reduce dependence on fossil fuels.

This via Classical Values; more or less on the same page. Though as with any poll this is a blunt instrument. The choice is not, for example, between "doing something" about carbon emissions and saying environmentalism is bad for the environment. I think protecting the natural environment is a matter of stewardship but that anthropogenic global warming is a lie. As for whatever Barak Obama's platform might say, I would not trust him to run classroom let alone the United States. Americans have a leader to choose; not only a collection of policies.

And I am a left liberal Green Lantern, apparently. Most probably because I think we should bring back our heavy industry from southern China and I rarely wear capes.

I got matched up with Mitt Romney. Imagine my surprise. Now here's a guy I'm gonna vote for! I guess it goes to show that verbs are important, too. Or, is trust a noun?
