Ghost of a flea

Most funky potential post modern steampunk-comic coolness. I loved Ironman as a comic whenI was a kid. I have found that the movies made from comics of late have been lacking and I still haven't brought myself to see Daredevil as I loved the comics but question the casting and reviews so much, I don't want the taint in me craw..

Iron man is a do-able movie unlike Green Lantern (my fave)..

I expect they will have him in something cyber looking by the thirty minute mark... Something I can say cgi is it has reached the stage where it can do justice to an Iron Man costume. Still, I hope they show the earlier iterations clanking around the place a la the book and Sam Raimi's Spiderman costumes.

I agree it has great steampunk potential too. I watched "Howl's Moving Castle" last night, btw. Beautiful.

Damn, where have I been lately...

I have not written about the project much since the early rumours Tom Cruise wanted to portray Tony Stark. I do not know who they settled on for the role in the end.

My boy (#2) is hooked on Full Metal Alchemist. He is on Disk 5 in thes series now. Very cool mystical alchemy mixed with anime and steampunkiness. One character has an Ironman look about him as well (so as to keep continuity in this thread)..

I hope its not Tom Cruise but someone who can actually act with a bit of passion.
