When dinosaurs walked the construct
In the beginning, Halo was going to have dinosaurs but the limitations of the AI meant they were never to be. Except for the giant thing that replaced the Scarab on the "Metropolis" level of Halo 2 that is (on legendary, cooperative)... it might have been a giant jackal but it looked a lot like a dinosaur. Has anyone seen it? And, yes, we know about the scarab gun and the soccer ball.
Legendary update: Dawn of the Halo. This so rules.
