Coming over here to recover from the sad news that 40% of Canadian youth find me evil, I see this. Fortunately, I saw the Doohan post first, and my already-great affection for him sky-rocketed. And then Saavik. Ummmmm, Saavik.
Back to this. Beth indeed might like it. I've been told if we can ever afford a Gatling, all that brass qualifies it for the living room. So, a gold-plated AK might well qualify too.
When looking at the pics, I find that there is total karmic balance.
The gold-plated AK is in the hands of the US Air Force. The Kosmic Karma of a gold-plated weapon in the hands of Zoomies is just too beautiful to behold.

I remember from Baghdad Bob's appearances during the war seeing another very shiny AK. It was a nickel plated AKM in the hands of the Iraqi Interior Minister. Apparently that gentleman intended on using it to defend the nation. Not sure how that worked out for him.
