Theatre of Dreams
I lived in Old Trafford in sight of the stadium. I could hear every cheer of every game. God bless the police and security services.
Now imagine if the plot had not been foiled. It is all too easy to imagine the reaction of those who would blame anyone but the monsters who planned, financed and carried out the atrocity. The sad thing is I lived in Manchester long enough to have the only possible first reaction of a native Mancunian: at least it was not Man City (and you don't want to know the Scouse first reaction).
