Andrew Sullivan responds to criticism of his politics. It seems his readers want him to take this or that party line rather than taking a more complicated position. Canadian political parties provide the same Hobson's choice north of the border.
I'm a fiscal conservative, social/cultural liberal and foreign policy hawk. Neither party provides a comfortable home for people like me.
